[YT] Galaxy Nexus & iPhone 4S got smoked by Windows Phone - Page 2

windowsphone.png

So what I see here is you can't win/lose against the same phone, that means it comes down to user error and not hardware.
So I scratched the ones the windows phone lost to off the win list, which leaves us with the following. I see a few phones that it beats, a few phones that it doesn't.
I scratched the Galaxy S II along with the Galaxy Nexus cause they are practically the same phone. I consider the Galaxy S II losing on part of user error.
I really should have scratched just the Galaxy S along with them since the hardware between them is no minimal I believe that one was user error as well.
The windows phones are okay if you are wanting something proprietary and not flexible or able to be modified.
The way they have it streamlined does take some time getting used to.
But overall I wouldn't say it is any better or worse than what is currently out there.
Just middle of the road, nothing to brag about, yet nothing to say it is a piece of crap about either.

Well, at least Windows Phone fanboys spewing irrelevant nonsense is a refreshing change from Apple fanboys spewing irrelevant nonsense. thumb.gif

this isn't relevant unless each OS is running the exact same hardware... im almost certain that the internal flash storage on each devices gets different access times/read and write.

Windows Phone has the slowest CPU out of them all, it's the only single core phone.

You'll need the fast boot with windows phone because you'll be crashing all the time. j/k insert troll face here.

The only thing getting smoked here is pole...

This reminds me of that comparison video of an old mac II 'smoking' a Windows Vista pc in boot time...
Before I can:
1. modify the interface and
2. get a dvorak keyboard
I'm not even remotely considering getting either iphone or WP

This is stupid. This has no comparison between the actual model except start-up time, which is completely irrelevant to actual testing of the phones.

true, but the processor doesn't matter quite as much when booting. that's mostly access speeds
