[MP1st] Major Battlefield 3 Patch Planned For Spring, Will Include New Features – Possible DLC - Page 15

Put it this way, there's a reason why out of all the BF3 players on this website, there's only a select few who always have something to complain about (even those who actually admit they dont even play).
If the game was truly as F'd as people say, there'd be a lot more genuine/general unrest among the people and it wouldn't take a news article discussion thread for it to surface.

Guess you don't read the battlelog forums

Lol? What do they mean by "no longer?" All I see on BF3's end is MORE dialogue with the developers. They have a damn forum where the developers and community manager participate and mark your feedback as "Planned, Not Planned, Implemented." What more dialogue do you want? Live VOIP?

That's the joke.

Battlefield has NEVER had more direct support/openness in regards to progression of the game based upon feedback than it does right now with BF3.

How many YEARS did it take for patch 1.5 to arrive on BF2 players computers again? Three years to balance the jets, and fix numerous other things.......and yet grenade spam still ruins many a match.

They plan to get everything in this much more complex game balanced up/patched within twelve months of release this time around and all of a sudden OH MY GOD DICE DON'T CARE ABOUT US, EA MUST BE ENSLAVING THEM AND TOUCHING THEM IN NAUTY PLACES!

Official forums are almost always the worst. Like I've said before, people who are happy and enjoy the game won't feel the need to join a forum in order to express their feelings. It's the people who aren't satisfied who feel the need to justify why they don't like the game and spread their feelings onto other people who pretty much can't and won't think for themselves.

No one is denying that there's bugs, btw. You're just making them out to be a bigger deal than they actually are.

Official forums are almost always the worst.

LOL, first you call OCN the select few, then you call the official battlelog forums a select few...
You sure try hard to act like the select few who have zero problems with this game are the ones who represent the majority opinion of this game.

To be fair, there are tens of millions of BF3 players (or at least people who paid for a copy of the game), and the forums represent maybe a few thousand people. If even 5,000 people were on forums boycotting the game, and the game sold 15,000,000 copies, that is 0.03%. 1% of customers would still be a fairly small number, and that would be 150,000 people. Of course, for every vocal forum member, there are probably a few dozen who have similar opinions but are too lazy to get on the forum to complain about it when they could just move on to another game.

A couple thousand out of the millions of people who own the game is a pretty small percentage. You're the only one here trying to represent the majority of the players. tongue.gif

[MP1st] Major Battlefield 3 Patch Planned For Spring, Will Include New Features

I can't complain. Even though it crashes sometimes, doesn't load the next map, seems unbalanced, etc.... I have fun playing. Sometimes I just drive the cars around jumping them and running over things. Lol. The patch will come and I will still enjoy playing.
Especially now on win8, maps load in half the time!

Information exposure manipulation sir.

If you had access to one website in the world that constantly posted articles about impending nuclear Armageddon, then your outlook on life would be quite different.

Same thing with forums like battlelog, people only go on to complain. Most people don't go on to say "yeah.... it's working fine, having fun". People complain because they want answers. When stuff works right... then you leave it be. So, your mindset/opinion of an issue is manipulated by the information you are exposed to.

Sure there are bugs with BF, some of them quite big... but for most people it just works absolutely fine (e.g. for me). You should never take a forum at face value. Even places like OCN is subject to agendas and bias.

Find the game horribad, full of gamebreaking bugs.

300 hours of play...

You must have a lot of time on your hands.

Honestly almost every person that says the game sucks has played over 200 hours. I simply don't understand why someone would play a game they don't like for that long.
