Best waterblock for 7970?

Thread Starter
I decided to go with the water cooling, and was searching for reviews but couldn't find any. Anybody know what the best waterblock is for this card? I was looking at the heatkiller and it seems promising but would like to know if there is anything better and if anybody gots links to some reviews on it? Highly appreciate the help.

I am rather happy with my EK HD 7970 block.

With my setup, I get 24°C idle and 35~36°C load. This is with it overclocked to 1150/1375.

I'm using a EK Nickel plated block.

Have you tried overclocking that thing higher or not really? Those are gorgeous temps btw.

I think I tried 1250 core but that's about it. Temps were about 4°C higher, not bad IMO. smile.gif

My card doesn't overclock that great and I've been finding myself gaming less and less as the day goes by. In fact, I haven't played BF3 in over a month and a half. Taxes and other things have been getting in the way. Grr..
