New SteelSeries mouse: SteelSeries Raw? - Page 12

Sorry if it's bit of a "disgusting" question but would the glossy raw be fine for someone whose palms sweat a bit or would it wear out quite fast ? Mine was enough for the Steelseries logo on the Xai to wear out but nothing serious besides that so I bet it's nothing extraordinary just a regular thing.

I'm interested in that too.
I sweat a lot on my Deathadder.

And I find it very hard to clean the rubber. The glossy side are no problem, just wipe with micro fiber and done.

Or the same crap as on the Kana?

Btw, that shop has some good photos.

Glossy:

Rubber:

.----
I also hope the price will drop. 60€ sensei Raw vs. 65€ Sensei (standard)
Not much of a saving in cost.

Any reviews guys? I used the Sensei yesterday for a brief while, and I really liked the mouse overall just wished it'd be a touch lighter. The scroll wheel was awesome. biggrin.gif

So for those getting this are you leaning towards rubber or gloss? I usually go with gloss as having bone dry hands means rubber is usually too slick but due to the shape I know i can grip it just fine so will go with rubber as I do find it more pleasant to touch. Xai always felt perfect to me.

I'm leaning towards glossy although I have sweaty hands.
And the reason for going glossy is, that I can clean it better.

You know I clean My mouse every 1-2 days with a micro fiber. And the rubber can't really cleaned. But the glossy just needs one swipe and it is clean again.

I don't sweat much at all on my hands but use alcohol swabs on the rubber of my mice every few weeks to get them clean. Gets everything off and they come out new so give that a try.

Not available in the US yet grrrrr. Heartbroken after having to return my EC2 evo which was perfect in every way except the stupid Huano switches. Had the original sensei for a bit and it was good enough for RTS except for the awful metallic shell and pointless features. Steelseries sensei raw seems like the perfect RTS mouse for fingertouch grippers.
