You are prolly right, which makes me sad. frown.gif The original XAi was of a very high quality regardless of the small inconsistent sensor and maybe one of the best ambidextrous shapes available, I certainly love the feel of my R.U.S.E edition XAi which is just a plastic version but of a very high quality.

The problem for me personally with Xai only was the small malfunction speed.

So if I get this right: the xai has more grippy rubber on the sides, than the sensei and sensei raw?

Omron switches for the main buttons so the best tactile switches available. Side switches are not omron but side switches don't matter as much (at least to me and I think most people).

When the hell is this mouse coming out? I've been seriously itching for a decent fingertouch mouse for ages.

To be fair just because its omron it can feel totally different, harder lighter, longer travel distance etc etc.

The best mousebuttons for me on all my mice with omron is the logitech G400, perfect feel.
Then take my Xai and the omron is way stiffer.

And so on.

Just got the Sensei RAW (rubberized) as a replacement for my regular Sensei.

The rubber paint is much more dry than the one on the G9 comfort grib, It doesn't become slippery as the regular Sensei on prolonged 'bouts of SS2 and D3. I don't have a Xai to compare with. Another thing to note is that the mouse is completely transparent beneath the rubber, so in theory you can scrape the paint off and get a completely transparent mouse.

The sensor feels exactly the same as the regular Sensei, I use the default sensitivities with no drivers, my low sensitivity FPS days are long gone. Buttons and mousewheel feel identical. I like that the Raw is a good deal lighter than the regular version. Mousefeet are the same.

Mine has a definite wobble, the shell is simply crooked! big fail, guess they will make me send it back in at £10 and then make me wait another two months.
