I had the vanilla Sensei, And when I switched to a Deathadder BE I realised what a crap mouse the Sensei is. It has a very cheap metallic paint on top and there was a cursor lag, acceleration and inconsistent tracking on the Qck Heavy. The clicks became mushy overtime. Dunno how many of you will agree with me though. I know at least some of you wont tongue.gif
Cheers!

I'm really disappointed though, the shape, sensor and buttons makes it a great fit for me.

The RAW is a mess (the one I got anyway). The mousefeet are unevenly applied and bubble slightly as they miss adhesive several places. However that's not the worst, the whole body of the mouse is slightly twisted, which causes it to wobble, making the mousepointer jump around.

I have put in another RMA request, and if they require me to send it back in I will not bother this time, each time costs £10 in shipping.

I'm so sad to hear this frown.gif. I was considering buying a Raw (Glossy) in addition to my current mouse in case anything goes wrong in it. Well it seems like I won't be buying a Raw anytime soon.

Yeah I must admit, I was pretty interested in this mouse.
Now I will start from scratch, to think about a new mouse.

Many would ask, why I want to switch, if I use a Razer Deathader 3500.

But It is simply because of the shape. The DA is too small for me to use it with palm grip comfortably. I guess 5-10% too small.
But it is then again a bit too large for my to fingertip grip it, I don't like to have the bump while in this grip.

I was interested too, but early reports aren't comforting. If you want a death adder you can fingergrip then try the Zowie EC1 Evo. It is extremely similar to the Death Adder BE but does not have the bump. I myself am using an EC2 EVO (I prefer smaller mice and finger touch grip) that I am modifying with my own switches. Just fair warning, Zowie uses huano switches. Many people don't mind, but they are stiffer than omrons and IMHO not as good for RTS.

I read good reviews about the EC2 Evo.

The only criticism was: "you have to get a mouse that doesn't have the mouse wheel error. Many copies had a mouse wheel that was misplaced, not in center." So the light would shine through the gap and throw a lot of light onto the monitor.

My Ec2 Evo mouse wheel tilts and doesn't register all the time. I'm on my second replacement now, and still having the same issue.

Edit - Zowie has been intouch with me none stop about the issue. Great customer support.

I have a SteelSeries Diablo III mouse and I'd like to ask if anyone else is experiencing really slow start-up times with the steelseries software? I literally can't do anything on my computer before this software loads up and that can take upwards of a minute. Any help would be much appreciated. wink.gif

Got the raw mouse installed. Problem is the glowing white LED on it is always on, even when my computer is off, is this normal?
