$40 for a Hyper 212 EVO is not impressive; that's overpriced.  There are better heatsinks like the Enermax ETS-T40 TB Silence for less.

the motherboard you are looking at is pretty good, so stick with it unless you get a good deal on something else then think about it and ask away:)
all in all that motherboard is great
the power supply will do
there are a lot better ones but this will suffice
cpu cooler is good, but this one is better and i recommend it over hyper 212

hdd- i can understand it, it is small but it costs more for something better
it will probably be the thing that lessens your overall experience working on a pc
it will do for first hand - i recomment new hdd to be your next upgrade:)
used 4850 is also good, the cpu you are getting can handle lot better cards, so later down the road you can change that 4850 with a more powerfull one if and when you feel the need to:)
do not get new 4850 now days it makes no sense it is overpriced new in store
i actually think that is the lesser choice over the amd mbo and cpu you listed first
also forgot to say-the case will probably annoy you pretty much if it doesn't have space for graphics card, but if you want a nice case that has a enough of room you would have to pay quite a bit more than for this one, so here is to hoping it is spacy enough (it probably has just enough room for medium length cards, but something like gtx 260 which is quite a bit long probably would have issues fitting in there)

Oh boy... Spend a few extra bucks on a decent case you'll thank yourself later.

Why a single stick of ram?
This dual channel set for same $

This set if your overclocking (newest tech, best OC'ing sticks for the $ right now

212+ for less than the zalman:
http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=41337&vpn=RR-B10-212P-G1&manufacture=COOLERMASTER&promoid=1009

A better PSU for $17 !!!!!!!!! AMIR and promo

Good mobo on the CHeap $75

Better mobo for a few bucks more $90

Best budget AMD proc currently

GPU for $78

If you dont plan to overclock that AMD processor though, then you will be MUCH happier with this i3 2100 setup:

For LESS money it outperforms the AMD setup @ stock settings quite handily, and you wont need an aftermarket cooler since these chips run so cool. (saved another $25)

Thread Starter
lol i ordered it guys but thanks anyways. I dont have to have the absolute best and i think what i got will do what i want just fine. i will more than likely overclock at a later date after i learn a bit more about it. any suggestions any ideas on a good monitor to get? im trying to keep monitor price for under $110 so any suggestions on what would be the best bang for my buck would help.

Id recomend this one

can save 50 dollars over the regular price if you included the shipping cost

No we were just hoping that he could not accept shipment or cancel his order...considering the OP get some less than stellar advice. Not that that setup wouldn't work.
