I tried just 1 stick of ram in every slot and another brand and doesnt work.
I tried removing all ram and it says code 53 or 54, the one for no ram present but still no video.
I cant update bios cause I cant get any video signal so cant get into bios at all.
Ive bought another 3820 to test it and ill return it as soon as I discard it being the problem. I know its not right but cant do anything else.
Its the only logical explanation for all this troubles with different motherboards, a faulty cpu.

So can we discard psu? Anyone had this happen before cause of a psu? Cpu and psu are the only components not tested or changed so far so its gonna be one of them.

Its weird that the mobo doesnt say faulty cpu thou. I hate all this troubles, ive been 3 weeks without computer because all this mess.
Only positive thing is the mobo change cause the asrock looks way better than the gigabyte, lets hope VID and oc are better too but if its the cpu faulty well never know cause I wont get to test it working with the same cpu on different boards.

I surrender.
I bought a new cpu and tried it cause it looked like that was the problem.... A2 still.
I went to a local store and tried a new psu.... A2.
Everything has been changed or tried with a different piece of hardware in every possible way.... In the case , outside the case, different ram brand, the 4 slots of ram, the 4 pci-e slots, 3 different motherboards, different rooms, plugs.... EVERYTHING!!!

Its just not gonna work at all. mad.gif

Have you tried turning it on and off biggrin.gif Maybe this post can help you out.

Well, I finally got my rig up and running last night. I'm still in the process trying to get everything the way it was, but I'm liking this system a lot. I was fiddling around with the overclocking settings, and I was able to get my ram to 2133 with a few clicks (I just had to click on 2133 and save). Maybe later on today, I'll try my hand at overclocking the processor and squeezing out some more MHz on the ram.

I tried, didnt work.

I found its a common problem with x79 boards failing to recognize some i7 3820 cpus.
Ill detail it tomorrow, its a wide spread problem.
Glad youre liking your system and everything is running fine smile.gif
