I see you have the extreme 7! If you are going to go the watercooling route, I ask you to PLEASE put your name on the list to get a block for this board made from MIPs. Thank you so much!

I just paid for the ASRock Fatal1ty X79 Professional on the egg. I like the looks of the extreme7 but could not find a review? If I go with full water cooling I will machine my water blocks on a end mill.

There are not any decent reviews about Ex7 on the net (apart from some Russian etc sites I found). I have one for about 3 months now paired with a 3820. It is a fantastic board, very powerful, overclocks amazing (you can check my profile for some test results). On board cooling solution for VRMs and other components are very very decent. Aesthetically very pleasing and looks awesome in your case.
I use 2 different sets of ram one is Corsair 1600 (6 sticks) and other is Patriot Viper Xtreme 2133 (6 sticks). Both are working excellent at their designed speed and can overclock further. No problems whatsoever.

PS: I see you ve ordered fatal1ty pro, good luck with it.

Excellent choice m8.

Im using one and its working wonders. My 3820 has been stable at 1.187v in p95 at 4200Mhz so far.
When I have some free time Ill try the 5Ghz and see what I can do.
The 16 + 2 power phases help with the oc a lot and the board is running very cool, 33 ºC with 22 ºC ambient even when stress testing with P95.
If you need anything just drop me a PM.

Are the Fatal1ty badges on the heat sinks removable?

Are you having problems with your ram? I'm hoping to run 32gb of ram with my x79 professional with the 3820. Asrock is not listing any 8gb sticks on the memory vendor list from Gskill?

Im running 4 sticks of Crucil Ballistix Sport 8gb 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24 without any trobles on my Fatal1ty professional with their XMP profile.
Dont know about the stickers on the heat sinks of the mobo, havent tried to remove them.

Merry Xmas!
