Individual hickups can happen, thats nothing to go on with the whole company. Afterall, all manufacturers are good and none of them will send a faulty board out there to get a bad reputation. It is "some" sellers trying to push around some products that were originally sent back by another buyer for some reason. Thats what I meant when I said some of them are doing dodgy things. When your new board arrives, everything will work just fine.

Small good then xD see I have 19TB of data that need to be put forward which is why I need the data ports

They say I'm not allowed a replacement board as they're no longer on offer, but i can have my money back or a board of equal price or lesser
They wont give me another extreme9 so im guessing that im going to see more complications soon

Hi guys, I've been noticing a lot of people having D6 issues so here's one more to add to the pile. My problem is interesting to say the less. I have the x79 Fatal1ty Pro on BIOS 1.50. I'm aware 2.20 is available at this time of writing but that's the problem. If I update the BIOS to anything above 1.50, POST give me 5 beeps and Dr Debug says D6. The interesting this is that I don't lose the display. In fact, I can update the BIOS, let it beep 5 times, and Windows continues to load. On BIOS 1.50 it doesn't give any errors.

I have an Intel i7 3930K, G.Skill DDR3 2133 4x4GB XMP 1.3, HIS Radeon 7770 GHz ed.

My question, why am I getting 5 beeps even though the OS and BIOS loads no problem and how can I fix this?

Edit: updated my question a bit

another thing to add is that if I try to update the BIOS with the Windows updater I get this error:

when I updated last I clicked Accept. I don't get this error flashing version 1.50 over itself. I get the error flashing to 1.90 or 2.20 and also when flashing back to 1.50 from 1.90 or 2.20.

They have the extreme9 in stock, but when I brought it, its was on offer for £199.99, because the offer is no longer on and the boards back to £264.99 they won't let me have a replacement cause the board is now worth 65pound more then I paid,

Think the company are just being a-holes
