Awesome!

Well, hopefully it's working for me now. Figured out that the "F6 floppy" driver file was what I needed. Not that one uses F6.. or a floppy... with it. tongue.gif

I was running Prime95 and noticed that my VRM heat sink next to my ram slot was causing my ram to get very hot. It looks like there is no room for air to flow through the heat sink . JML10166 if you happen to run Prime95 can you please check your heat sink and ram for excessive heat.

a beta ROM is out for the x79FPro. I'm going to try that later today. also, F-Stream was updated the other day.

I finally figured out what the beeping was all about!!! It's weird but I think it has something to do with my TV. I use HDMI to the TV for my PC, but if I use the D-SUB connector it doesn't beep! I think maybe it's time for a new TV because this one is a 2006 LCD model :O I still don't understand why this has been happening and why it doesn't happen on the early 1.50 BIOS.

btw, don't update F-Stream. I think it breaks Xfast RAM.

Yeah, I'll take a lookee perhaps Sunday. If you don't hear a result from me by the end of that day, just remind and I'll run it for a while.

I added a new fan and all is good now. I'm running at 100% load crunching World community grid. Stress testing my system and helping to fight childhood cancer. Thanks for offering to help out.

Sorta ? I had a few ram issues at first with 3 different kits . I ended up getting this kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231503 The Gskill ram is working perfect with my ASRock board.
