The profile will correct the timings, unless they're tighter/lower now than with the profile. The real gain in everyday applications with overclocked RAM really isn't worth the hassle.
Even with A-DATA - AX3U2400GC4G10-DG2, G.Skill - F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD, and Kingston - KHX2400C11D3K4/8GX, the timings are so loose that the performance gains are very minimal.

Agreed, the only stuff worth the time to OC it is the Samsung 30nm sticks. But most people buy them because o their potential.

The X79 chipset does well with ram overclocking, so you might be able to run 1866 with some settings changed. Why type of ram to do you have? I can see it is Patriot but I have no idea what the stock timings/speed/voltage is by looking at your validation.
You should fill out a sig rig so that when you post, people can look at your setup and give you accurate responses. Click the link up in the top right underneath the adds!

Thank you,
I wanted to fill out a sig rig but couldn't figure it out (Total noob to forums), but there it is now. Here is the link to the ram i have. I'm satisfied with it being at 1666, I really don't want to get into tweaking the ram since all i really do is game/surf the web on my pc. Like MacG32 said, the hassle doesn't really seam worth it to me. I guess I was just wondering if the timings were abnormally low or out of proportion for the overclock i have.

You should put in the XMP 1.3 setting and it will be adjusted for you. No reason it shouldn't be able to run at 1666 9-9-9-24 @ 1.6v.

If the XMP setting gives you trouble, try putting in the settings manually, and if that gives you trouble, come back to us here and we'll help!

Thank you, I'll go ahead and try that out. I know when I was first overclocking my cpu, my computer wouldn't boot up when I selected a xmp profile. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time. To check stability, should I run Prime95 again, or would memtest be good enough?

Prime is a good test, on the Blend setting. A lot of times you won't BSOD with unstable ram, but instead each core will fail because of errors. You can change some settings for prime to really work your memory but I can't remember what they are...

Ok, so I tried with xmp settings and my computer wouldn't boot. So I just left the "Load XMP Setting" setting to auto, and changed the "DRAM Frequency" setting to DDR3-1666, then changed the timings to 9-9-9-24. Is that the correct way to go about manually adjusting the ram speed and timings? (Sorry, never messed with any type of memory or cpu settings before).

If I remember correctly, you did mention you changed your blk (or whatever its called) to 133.3 or something. Could that have caused some issue?

If you are doing it Manually, put the "load XMP" to standard, change the freq to 1666, the timings to what you stated.

Then go into your voltage config and make sure you put the voltage to 1.6, like your memory states.

O no! Double check all of your OC settings, that doesn't seem right...
