Wow! Club has grown immensely! This is a good thing smile.gif I get so wrapped up in work I hardly have time to stop by and check threads for pleasure. It's awesome to see. I love my Asrock board. Probably best board I've ever owned.

I am looking to pick up the Extreme6 x79 board and pair it with a Noctua NH-D14 cooler but I am afraid that the cooler might block the top PCI-E slot. Does anyone have experience with this combo? I plan to run two GTX 680's in SLI and maybe put an old gtx 460 in the bottom slot for phys-x. I'm picking up a 32GB memory kit to begin with and may expand to 64GB in the future, which is why I am looking for an 8 slot board. I also need 1 PCI slot for an ASUS Xonar ST soundcard. Any help is much appreciated.

Cliffs of planned build:

ASRock Extreme6
32 GB - 64 GB memory
2 GTX 680s
1 GTX 460 for phys-x
Asus Xonar ST Soundcard
Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
Seasonic 1050W 80+ Gold PSU
Coolermaster Haf-X Case

I got it for mine. They fixed the mouse problem in the UEFI. That's all I noticed really. This board is great anyway.

Hey guys I have an extreme9 x79 with a 3960x@4.7 and for the life of me can not get my skill 2133 cl9 16 gb ram to work when I overclock the cpu. One of the biggest problems is that once you set 2133, it locks vcssa at 1.195v and vtt at 1.2v but I can only notice this if I can even make it to bios. It will not boot no matter the voltage or xmp. I have tried manually setting everything and that doesn't help. I get constant bios freezes and reboots which makes it even harder to fix.

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I thought the molex on the mobo put out power, not take it in, so how does it help with cfx? I must not know something lol
