Give them a call ' (909) 590-8308 ' I have always had someone answer and are very helpful.

Hey jthomas, noticed you have an AsRock X79 Extreme6. How are you finding the board? I am interested in getting one or the Extreme9 and I'm interested in owners of both and their experiences with the boards.

I would put the extreme 9 up against any board out there.

I've had the extreme6 for several months now ( first asrock board for me ) and it is rock solid. I run my 3820 at 4.625 24/7 and not a single problem so far. I don't game, mostly edit and encode video, so I'm sure there are advantages to a higher end board but not for me. Any specific questions about the board?

I just finished a new system for a client using an asrock Z77 Pro4 with an I7 3770K and it is running like a champ, no overclocking yet. I have been a gigabyte guy for years but am really sold on asrock boards.

Well Doesn't have built in places for reading voltages. So what.
Can you do that on any ASRock X79 boards?

I'm sure there is a way. Just not a simple put your leads here kind of way.

AE11 is handling my 3960X very sweet! Got it up to ~5.1 GHz. It's amazing how much cooler SB-E runs versus IB. My 3960X stays under 65 C in Prime95 with the following settings:

This is a bit nicer overclock than I could get this chip to do on both the RIVE and the Big Bang XP-II. Maybe an ASRock convert. biggrin.gif
