3dmark11 score basic

my score is 7870, is that good?

what can I do to improve this score.

is that score low for my rig?

its not oc'd, but i'm not sure what i need to to to oc it.

what else can i do?

Sounds like a normal score if you haven't OCd your rig.

If you want to increase the score just OC your CPU (not sure if you've done this already but if not then there are lots of LGA1366 OC guides on OCN)
For OCing the 7970, I'd suggest using MSI afterburner. Probably the latest version, even if it's a beta since the 7970 is such a new card. Not sure if the voltage is unlocked by default by it shouldn't be hard to unlock even if it isn't. (just post and ask for help smile.gif )

The 7970s are awesome OCers, so you should really be able to improve your score! smile.gif Lets see that 1.2GHz thumb.gif

That's about what i got with my r7970. I upped the clocks a little bit more to 1025/1550 and scored 8500. CPU is a 2600k @ 4.5 ghz if that matters. So you're in the right ballpark.
