What mouse and mouse settings do you use for 1080p resolution - Page 4

Using 11/11 in windows is pure retarded.
And it does not have to do with the cursor being just faster, if you use 11/11 just google it and learn something new.

Depends on your windows settings as well. I just read a guide about SC2 and started running their recommendations. Apparently you put the windows slider on 6/11, and turn mouse acceleration off. That is a true 1:1 pixel per mouse movement appparently. You use your DPI capabilities of your mouse beyong that to adjust for sensitivity. I think I run 800dpi on my mouse I brough to the desert with me. Not sure if this will work when I get home or not.

i know 6/11 is much better for gaming since its a 1:1 pixel ratio, where as 11/11 is some thing like a 3.5:1 pixel. However, on a desktop i don't need pixel perfect accuracy, and very rarely do i need pixel perfect accuracy in games, since i don't like camping and sniping.

Mouse and keyboard are extremely subjective to each individual. Some cannot stand low sensitivity like myself, whereas others cannot use high sensitivity. Some other people are much more sensitive to acceleration, jitter, and pixel accuracy. Personally it doesn't bother me that much so that's how i roll.

1875 for normal everyday use, 3575 for gaming and when in tanks in games 5600. I prefer having high DPI and lower sensitivity than the opposite

Thread Starter
I seem to prefer between 1100-1200dpi with 6/11 cursor speed, but I force 70-75hz on my 1080p LCD. Changing refresh rate makes a huge difference in how the mouse feels. I'm surprised there aren't more people that use similar DPI as me.

What the heck kind of mouse am I supposed to buy for 1100-1200 dpi? Seems like I'm forced to use Avago 9500 mice since no opticals have settings for this except maybe Zowie AM. I'm weary of buying one due to the supposed 5 ton pressure required to press the buttons.
