Go with the Twin Frozr card. I have the EVGA 560 ti Classified which is a very similar card. They both overclock extremely well and I don't think you can beat them for the price right now. With my card I am able to run all the games I play at full Ultra settings on a single monitor with no issues.

so would it be best to just get that 560ti 448 or wait?

should i be interested in the ivy bridge cpus? I doubt it will effect my fps in gaming that much, also, will the SB cpus drop in price when IB comes out?

-thanks!

edit: gr3nd3l, your mobo is so sick!

560ti 448 is past due this late nov 2011, kepler is coming this late march or early april 2012, so watch out for it, since yours is a new built. if kepler really says something on reviews then go for it, otherwise you know what to do then.

ivy bridge is delayed by june this year, so its upto you, there's a performance upgrade from SB, not sure about the percentage though.

The 7970 is an amazing card but if the budget is too much save the $250 and get the MSI Twin Frozr card. This will put you right around $1500.
If you want to know more about the 560 ti 448 core cards check out this thread.

You could also spend a little more on the case and pick up an NZXT Switch 810 case for $169. NZXT case is a great case for whatever you want to do now or in the future.

If you want to know more about the 560 ti 448 core cards check out this thread.
You could also spend a little more on the case and pick up an NZXT Switch 810 case for $169. NZXT case is a great case for whatever you want to do now or in the future.
i suggested that build as OP was going to spend 170$ extra on the 7950 so instead of the 7950 i put a 7970 there for him thats it buddy thumb.gif and if he is having a budget of 1500$ then

I would stick with the original NZXT power supply you had in the other build. I have that OCZ power supply and I swear the thing struggles with an old AMD processor and a 6770 lol.

I noticed on the case it says it is available in 5-8 weeks. Seems like a long wait if you go with that site.
Couple of other options may be:
NZXT Phantom 410 $89.99 after MIR
NZXT WHISPER Classic Series - Refurb $59.50
Rosewill BLACKHAWK $89.99
Fractal Design Define R3 $99.99

I good friend of mine is also having a lot of issues overclocking his ASRock board. I do not know if it is just his board but I have heard of some other people having issues with the ASRock boards when it comes to OCing as well. May want to check out an ASUS board if you can get one for a comparable price.
