2500k monitoring way different voltages on overclock... what's wrong?

I have a 2500k and a Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 mother board.

In the BIOS, I changed the Core Clock from 33x (stock) to 42x.

I then changed the dynamic vcore offset to -0.03v from stock, reducing it even tho im overclocking due to the motherboard using more volts than necessary. After rebooting to the BIOS, it shows my max VCORE is 1.29v after the change.

Running Prime95 or Linx stress test, I get different current voltages in EASY TUNE 6 and CORE TEMP.

See picture:

404

As you can see, the programs show a 0.1 difference in volts. Should I trust EASY TUNE 6 being the correct one?

VID is different from the voltage read by easy tune.

SO i wouldnt worry about the differences.

I would just go buy what easy tune says.

The differences escape me so maybe someone else could shed some light.
Small wonder.

EasyTune is the correct one.

Gigabyte boards have a issue with the voltage monitoring with anything but EasyTune it seems like.

Thanks for the replies.

I was a little worried from what CORE TEMP said. HWMonitor doesn't seem right either.

So I'll assume that im running at 4.2 ghz at 1.29v .... which should be more than enough.
