How long can I leave my test bench + WC kit in use outside of case?

Hey guys

So I'm selling most of my old components to a friend and am waiting for the Switch 810.

Unforunately it doesn't arrive in AUS for about a month, so I will still want to use my PC in that time. I was going to just setup my mobo on the top of it's box for a while on my desk, as well as my XSPC RX360 kit. Will everything be fine in a clean environment for a month?

I have a small air compressor with a water tap and air regulator in my room, so I can clean it off every day if need be. Just mainly concerned about dust and whatnot.

Do you think it'll be fine? Or should I tell him to wait a month if it's going to be an issue!

Thankyou! c:

It should be fine unless you have a tendency to throw your components everywhere lol. leaving it in plain view is no problem.

Yes it'll be fine. I've had mine setup on a box for 2 weeks now while I wait for my replacement case.

Accidentally sneeze at it.
Sparks start flying everywhere.
Fire!

Just be careful about liquid/conductors around it.

You're fine. Tons of people on OCN run test benches instead of cases, so their components are prone to pretty much everything exposed in the air.

You'll be fine, assuming you're not the kind of person who gets tips, or is clumsy or accident prone. Also a lack of pets would be helpful.
