1/4" structure with 1/8" grill is more than enough to hold the 360 rads. I'm using large 6/32 screws too so they take a bigger bite into the rads.

I not only used 1/2" material but every hole that was threaded had a steel or bronze insert in it.My idea about acrylic is that is is for looks.It does have strenght in cetain directions but it will crack and cracked acrylic just lost the number one reason I like it,the look. I do not know what is meant by "large 6/32 screws".The screw size is either 6/32 or not.There is no such thing as "6/32 large" All my radiators are secured to my 1/2" acrylic with 1/4"/20 hardware and the acrylic has an insert in the hole that the 1/4"/20 hardware screws into.In some tight places I did thread the 1/2 acrylic 1/4"/20 as an insert for 1/4"/20 hardware needs a 5/16 hole (then you tap this hole for a 3/16 coarse thread).I did this only when I could not use an insert in the hole.

man that design looks awesome. I thought about designing my own enclosure for the Phobya 1280 as well but how much have you put into the build as far as cost so far (excluding the cooling, just the stand and design)?

The stand took me problably 20-30 hours to design. Took me the first 5-6 hours just to figure out the basic dimensions.
All the plexi cost me less than $50-$60 I think. I know a laser cutter that can do the grills for pretty cheap. When I get home I'll try to verify the prices but I think that was close. If you want contacts just PM me.

It was a fan bus that I bought at PPCs. I don't think they carry that exact one any more but they have lots others.
