AI Suite unininstall question

Thread Starter
I uninstalled AI Suite, now on reboot got a popup msg saying can not load asacpi.dll. Hit OK and get an access violation @ address 00000000.

Any idea how to fix this?

AI suite doesn't uninstall well at all. I used http://www.macecraft.com/ (free version) to complete the uninstall of it. Also check MSCONFIG for any remaining services or startup processes.

Tried using that program to install/uninstall. Same issue
post #4 of 8
I had the same issue. I think I ended up using "Autoruns" from the SysInternals Suite of programs to uncheck everything related to the AI suite. It will not remove all the stuff the uninstaller leaves behind, but it will stop them from trying to load and the annoying error messages.

Unbelievable you have to go through all these steps to uninstall this app properly =(

Still having this popup in windows 7. Downloaded an older version of AI Suite, install/reboot/uninstall via windows 7 control panel/reboot...same popup

Can not load asacpi.dll

Opened regedit and did a search for it, found nothing.

Update: Reinstalling DIGI+ VRM from the AI suite, then uninstalling that got rid of the issue.

I'm not sure I understand. What is DIGI+ VRM?

I can't see it as part of the package.

Thanks,
Jason

Reinstall the program, reboot, install revo-uninstaller, uninstall asus ai suite using revo, uninstall revo if you want after. Win.
