Just because it works for YOU doesn't mean it's not flawed. It isn't just the technical issues though - it's the way they pulled their games from steam with some lame excuse. A lot of people felt like EA was insulting their intelligence with their reasoning. If Valve decided to block EA from steam people would raise hell, so since EA left without justification it's only fair that they receive the same heat.

EA is one of the most hated companies in the eyes of the gaming community anyways because of the Spore fiasco, and continuing SecuRom with Crysis didn't make the story go away. Then there's the day one DLC for ME3 - not exactly a gread way to improve your already tarnished image. Valve, on the other hand, is the gaming community's darling. They provided free content years after release, and bug fixes for even longer.

You cannot get more ironic than this: A song about breaking the law, only watchable by breaking the law, in a thread about breaking the law.

I don't recall saying Origin had no problems, in fact i've had a fair share of them myself. But the fact of the matter is there are people who haven't even given it a chance simply because it was developed by EA. I personally dislike EA but if i'm interested in one of their products i'm not going to be hard headed and miss out on it.

A game showing up immediately after being available on a torrent site?!

This never happens.

I'm suprised they took the time to write an article about it.

Though I'm not surprised that the author/site obviously know so little about torrent sites that they feel this is news.

If dishonest people can get something for free, they will find a way to do it.

And those that use Origin as an excuse.....Any AAA title thats released on Steam/Origin/etc. will have a crack that will allow you to play it however you want, so stealing because of that is no excuse
