I personally dislike EA but if i'm interested in one of their products i'm not going to be hard headed and miss out on it.

Well the problems are reason enough not to buy it, and the launch day DLC doesn't help your cause. I'm sorry but if companies want our money they have to at least pretend like they need our business. EA always takes the customer for granted. So until they get it together (some) people will vote with their wallet.

And those that use Origin as an excuse.....Any AAA title thats released on Steam/Origin/etc. will have a crack that will allow you to play it however you want, so stealing because of that is no excuse

The Witcher 2 removed DRM and sold 400,000 in it's first week. Skryim sold almost 500,000 in 2 days, and that's not including digital sales. People are willing to pay for good service, and people are willing to pay for quality. There will always be pirates just like they'll be people willing to pay for junk. It's that percentage in the middle that's swayed by a companies actions and reputation.

Is anyone ACTUALLY surprised? I mean really? Every big game that comes out now will get pirated within minutes of release.

Still, Im not a terrible person, so I wont be pirating it. I support devs thumb.gif

However, im not buying it either because ME2 was terrible. Ill wait till the summer or something and get it for $30 or whatever.

Like I said in other posts origin is not comparable to steam. Valve actually works on steam and have timely updates and a large community for steam. As for origin its already abandoned, feels desolated, no developer communication through origin, no sales, nothing. Kingdom of Amalur has more announcements through steam then in origin. EA doesn't even care its bad.

Why does everyone think it's not playable? It's the full version (Digital Deluxe) and it's already cracked. I got a buddy who downloaded it on Saturday and was playing it yesterday, and he knows someone who's already beaten the game. I bought it, so I couldn't care less about this at the moment, since I bought the first 2 as well.

I bought The Witcher 2 on release. I will not be buying ME3 due to all the things EA is doing.
