Eyefinity "Peripheral Vision" on Large Single Display Possible?

So I saw a link on a thread today that had this example of what eyefinity was. I already know what it is, but I clicked it anyway.
Link: http://www.sapphiretech.com/images/WebEvent/eyefinity.html

I am wondering if it's possible to to get the extra peripheral vision that eyefinity has to offer, but on a large single display. It would be nice to see the "full view" of the game. Especially when playing Dirt 2/3 with interior view.
I am using a 37" TV as my display so I have plenty of screen to work with, but it's only 1080P.

Here is a visual explanation of what I would like to achieve, if possible. Using Dirt 2 as an example.

Standard 1920x1200 view of interior. It is impossible to drive like this because you cant see the road. It limits your vision to about half of the windshield.

Eyefinity Gives you the "full view" of the game, making it so much easier to see where you are going. Allows you to see the entire windshield of the car so there is no blind area.

What I Want to Achieve If possible, the red area would be my display. This would allow the full windshield to be visible.

So I am wondering if this is possible. If so, how would I go about doing this?

That area in red looks more like super anamorphic.

May be so, but I was thinking it should be able to fit it on a 16:9 screen, even if that meant having to have black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. I wouldn't mind that as long as I could actually see the game.

I'm not a source on this, but I don't think you can show more image/resolution the screen itself can support.

You can try to play with game configuration files like changing the FOV and aspect ratio.

FOV settings would be about all you can do. It will make a difference, but you can't pick where you want to see. Like in how you want to see the middle and half of the right screen. It won't work like that. It will just zoom out a bit but your going to see the middle screen and say 1/4 of each side screens. When you mess with the FOV like that, you end up with the term "Fish Eyed" looking. It will give you a headache trying to play like that. I've done it with no good results tho.

If you want to see like eyefinity, then it's time for eyefinity tongue.gif
