Asus P8P67 Pro Rev 3.0 Wont OC RAM... Need Help.

I have the Low Voltage Samsung RAM that overclocks with ease on my Asus Z68 to 2170mhz 10-10-10-28

On my P67 2133mhz wont boot, the 1866mhz fail workers, 1600 also fails workers, and I am running it at 1333mhz 9-9-9-27, although I can tighten the timings without a problem.

I went from the 2001 BIOS to 2101 because I heard its more stable..But that didnt fix my problem. I could try the 2301, but I doubt it will solve my RAM problem.

I am sure this RAM can OC since I did it on the Z68.. And I know my CPU OC is stable and will run the 1333mhz stable under prime..

Do I have a bad board..? Is there anything I could do.. I bought it on Ebay for $50 and I dont know if its worth returning to the seller.. It just bothers me that I could run it higher if my board let me..

After looking at ur post i believe the.postees are right u.need more.vcore.. my problem isnt a 101bsod.. my problem is it wont boot or workers fail even at a low multi and not much cpu stress
So i can almost isolate its a ram problem.. urs on the other hand sound like a possible.vcore unstable.oc..

my cpu is 24hr prime blend stable, and only occurs with ocing ram, only 1600mhz works or 1866 if that is teh default

Try down clocking your CPU and then overclocking the RAM.. See if it bsod then.. I mean 5ghz can be a very unstable clock for most chips and its possible the extra stress from the OC RAM is the cause especially at 1.465.. Most chips dont hit 5ghz unless you pushing 1.48 or higher.. What kind of temps you seeing on that.. Nice loop I am sure it keeps the temps down.

I know you dont want to to down clock the CPU i woudlnt either.. But to figure out the cause of the problem.. Humor me..

I'd look in the socket for bent pins.Don't ask why whistle.gif
9-10-10-28 @ 1.54-5 works @ 2133 for me

I already put in for the rma amd sent.in the forms.. its.possible something wasnt working
. I would prefer a new board anyways.. better safe than sorry especially if i went to the trouble of putting in for it.. asus's rma processes is a pain..

I can get the samsung ram to 2170mhz 10-10-10-28 at 1.55.. no luck on any tighter timings..
This is on the z68 tho.. the p67 dont boot at 2133
