gaming laptop - denmark/europe

Hello
I´ve been thinking about buying a gaming laptop, I know it isn´t as good as a desktop and is more expensive.
But I´ve already got a desktop, and it isnt portable for when I travel rolleyes.gif

So I´m looking to buy one my budget is 2667,43$ give or take.
I´m looking to buy one in Denmark or within Europe so that I won´t have to pay customs and tax for it, which I would if I order from the US sadly frown.gif I know stuff is cheaper over there.

Any advices ?

Oops, forgot to say that ill prefere a 17 inch screen., battery life is not that important?
And that im looking to buy the system in 3-4 months.

Feel free to post models, brands etc even if you only know them from the US, I will then look into it and see if it is sold here in Denmark smile.gif

Hi, you should take a look at most MSI laptops, they're around £1400 for top spec i7 and high end gpu. Judging by reviews they're some of the best gaming laptops on the market. If you really want to splash some cash and get an over-priced but head turner than look at the alienware m18x or something along those lines.

High end acer laptops are good these days, you could also check out a smaller company called novatech over at www.novatech.co.uk and see what they have to offer; their i7 gaming laptop is really competitively priced.

IMO gaming and laptop should not be used in the same sentence.

I have a barebone GT780DXR, got it last year in September. I had windows, so it cost me 1,250$ give or take. I thought that was a steal. To bad it doesn't get that move use :/. Its in the sig below.

Its got a I7 2630qm
GTX 570m 1.5mb
6gb of memory.
M4 64gb SSD
750GB HDD
1920 x 1080
17 inch screen

Also, this thing runs really COOL, I've never seen it go over 50c while gaming, BF3 on it. And it can run BF3 at high/ some tweaks amazingly.

Only thing I don't like is that is HEAVY, and big. But, you should know that before you buy it.
