Mini ITX mobo/cpu/GPU

I'm lookin to build a really tiny PC that I can program on and just hold some of my data from my desktop/laptop.

I'm lookin to fit it into this case; I want it to run linux (haven't decided what distro yet) and be able to handle two 1920 x 1080 monitors.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811321012

Anyone have a suggestion? smile.gif

For the Intel Route you can get a decent little i3 system (35w TDP CPU) which should be fine. Onboard should do 2 monitors no problem.

For the AMD route I would suggest this: e-350 motherboard. Even less power than the i3. A bit slower for compiling code, but the iGPU might be a little better

Cheaper then the stock Mac mini. I just want it to handle two 1920x1080 monitors and I'll use it mostly for programming

e-350 will supports up to two monitors via integrated graphics and the i3 with HD 2000/3000 graphics will support up to 2 monitors as well.

If you think you might need more cpu power, or in the future might decide to drop in another cpu the i3 would be a good choice smile.gif The e-350 has much better integrated graphics but i believe it was a little less powerful of a cpu

I believe both E-350 and i3 will support dual monitors, but I would actually go with the i3 route because AMD GPUs with Linux have been known to have problems.

my i7-2600 had an hd2000 and I have the same motherboard (but with wireless) and there is an option for IGD multi-monitor. The e-350 should be able too as well since it is just radeon HD 6000 series architecture. As long as you don't watch blu-rays or 1080p video on both monitors I don't see a problem.

edit: Just found this good read http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core-i3-2100t_2.html
