Had another user handle the deal for me. A fellow user, who has, himself used the market place a number of times successfully. He really vouched for the OCN as well as buying used for my first build. I felt comfortable with the deal being as the seller was retired OSN staff. If you go to the marketplace now they stickied an article about not using gift payments with paypal. I imagine most people ignore that for the same reason of avoiding taxes and such.... but it looks like i was made an example of. Learned a few lessons.

That's not bad.. Just wish you went Sandy Bridge to begin with I guess? Assuming the Sabertooth works right.

Well... AMD has the best price/performance ratio cards as of now. But solid nVidia cards are:

GTX 580
GTX 570
GTX 560 Ti
GTX 560

Either of them should do really well on 1080p gaming smile.gif

yeah, now i look at it, and think i should have just done it this way from the beginnning.
I read some of the older sabertooth boards had some problems. the x58 i was looking at would have been in that generation.

sandy bridge wet my appetite early.

Looking into cards is getting to be a pain, so much to consider and weigh. I have been looking at the GTX 560/570, thinking of a single card, price differences really have me considering other options.
MSI GTX570 Frozr II is $400/ish
Asus 570 a little cheaper, and the trade offs for cheaper are obvious.
but then i see the the 560 for like half the price, and consider that if i doubled up the cost would be nearly equal to the cost of the MSI. :S and i really seem to be leaning in that direction now.

as well as the 680(?) coming out this month.... but i dont really want to get into that, yet.
I am just looking into high end, top end seems a little much for me.

and i havent even started looking into HD cards yet. 6950 seems to be where i should start... and then go through the motions again...

Everything might take another dive in price once GTX600 series launch, which should be sometimes this month.

The waiting game is indeed quite painful, especially when competitors release new architectures months apart from each other.
