But...I don't think CS:GO would bring anything new to the series other than a graphical refresh. Which in that case, doesn't really interest me.

Isn't that exactly what source was tho? I'm interested to see what modders do with the new engine, CSS had amazing mods. Imagine playing zombies with the new engine better lighting, high res textures, fog and such smile.gif.

I didn't really care much for cross platform play. Controllers can't compete with mice, i know the ps3 will have mouse support but i think the majority of people would use controllers.

Well there goes the only distinguishing feature of the game, everyone might as well stick with cs1.6 or source

Meh, no longer interested in this. And BTW, consoles were to support keyboard and mouse. I'm sad.

Props to a company that understands how to make a game for PC actually work on PC. You don't have to dumb everything down because consoles can't do this or that. :cough: BF3 :cough:

+1

Of course i'm interested in the new graphical design, but i think the cross platform would make the game much more fun. I was looking forward to being able to play with my friends who own a PS3 sadsmiley.gif

I don't think so. It's going to be released digitally only (I think), and since they say it's just kind of a reskin, not a full new game, I don't believe it's going to cost more than 30-40$

Making PC stronger they mean, I don't see how this makes console stronger.
