Any Deals On Skyrim?

Thread Starter
Hey I was wondering if anyone was selling/or if anyone has seen a good deal on Skyrim. Trying to find a good deal. I can't really see myself spending $60 on a single player game, especially since I have to buy a new mouse since mine got lost in the process of RMA :/.

You can always try a serial key website of some sort. I have bought a few games this way.

I believe Skyrim is around $43 on there right now.

People have had their games removed from Steam for games sold on those sites. I also think it might be against TOS to advertise them now. Not sure on that. I know a mod had a thread in online deals, and that got shut down.

There is also a huge security risk. They give you the game by getting your steam id and password, and then adding it to your account.
In progress.

Sorry about that I'll remove the name right away. As for using there steam client or whatever it is I didn't know about that and I for one would definitely not trust that.

Best of luck to finding a good deal smile.gif.

Don't legit sites like (only one I know of) direct2drive just give you a cd key that you can register through steam/origin?

That's how it has been for me, but there are some keys that are locked to a certain region, which then you have to use the clients edition of steam or whatever to activate it. I knew about the region thing and I always kept away, I didn't know you have to give your steam info to get it activated though.

Those sites like the one he mentioned are Russian sites that buy games cheap there and sell the keys for a profit. They are not authorized Steam retailers.

The way they operate is you buy the key, give them your login info, and they add it to your account to avoid regional restrictions.
