Wait Im a little confused, they make a 560ti 448 with 2.5GB memory? btw whats your budget and does it have to be an nvidia card?

The gtx570 does very good with 1.3GB memory, but I do notice bf3 maxes it out, that doesnt mean its limiting my cards performance, untill someone does a benchmarks comparison, it does sound like more memory is better at this level, but not sure it would really help much. Regardless on bf3 (toughest gpu dependent game i play) I get smooth 60-70fps average with a single gtx570 on 1080p ultra with only change is msaa off.

Nvidia only makes the GTX 560ti 448 Core as 1.25 GB VRAM. The GTX 560 ti normal edition can come in the 2GB version. The GTX 560ti is on a different chassis than the GTX 560ti 448. The 448 core edition of the 560ti is a lighter GF-110 chassis design of the GTX 570 which has 480 cores. One of the best bangs for the buck is the GTX 570
The GTX 570 will overclock very easy and plow through any game out right now and in the next few years to come. One of my friends can still play games like BF3 and MW3 on a GTX 260! The 560ti - 570 is the "sweet spot" of the performance line from Nvidia. Also right, consider the GTX 480. Some reviews state that it runs a little hot but turn up the fan using software like MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision and it fixes the issue. The GTX 480 from EVGA is on sale on both Newegg and Tigerdirect for $250. It gives your the same performance as the GTX 570.

With all that said, my answer is the $320 EVGA GTX 570, the $300 EVGA GTX 560ti 448 core Ultra (external exhaust card- keeps heat out of the case) and lastly the EVGA GTX 480 for $250.

EVGA is unrivaled to have outstanding customer service and they sell more Nvidia cards than the rest of the sub-manufacturers. thumb.gif

Yup, its an excellent cooler, thankfully too since i need 1125mv for 900mhz, that setting with 50% fan use I still RARELY exceed 60c while gaming on bf3- 100% gpu use. Usually mid 50c range when gaming. Check my signature for pics of mine inside my case if OP is curious
