hello,
just wanna know about corsair Hx series psu...which do have a feature of deatchable cables....

Well considering this feature only makes the HX series superior over the remaining series of corsair PSU like TX,GS ......

Also tell is this feature is goood or not.... In your opinion...
What you guys think..huh..

Of course it's good, i'm sure most would tell you they can't go without a modular design.

Cleaner looking, easier to maintain (as i can unplug my PSU cables without having to undo many cable ties) and it's also a plus for case airflow.

Good all round, worth the investment.

Its not the only feature over the other series. The different series are from different oems, and have different efficiencies. The modular cables thing is a matter of opinion. If you dont want a bunch of extra cables, its useful, if you do not mind, it will not make a difference.

My corsair tx has a "detatchable cables" too! It's tx650m, the "m" at the end stands for "modular", and i don't know whats that supposed to mean...,

Its nice to only be able to use the cables you need and not have any extra to try and hide. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me if a PSU only had fixed cables as long as it was a good unit, though.

The thing I love about the AX series is every cable is modular, as well as its gold efficiency. You are probably asking, why does it matter if the 8 pin, 24 pin, and PCIe cables are modular, almost every build is going to need them. This is true, however for sleeving purposes, its a dream. If you are not into that sleeving stuff, an HX series is probably fine.

I have a non modular PSU I picked up at a really good price, granted I have a ton of extra cables to hide. If I were going to buy new one I would be looking at the Corsair AX mostly for sleeving the cables as I have time available to do it.

They're good units. Unless you strictly want a modular unit, it isn't worth you upgrading from the 600w unit you have now. Like you said, cables aren't an issue with the case you have.
