Asus P8P67 PRO REV 3.1 bios 2302

Thread Starter
I have for a few months ago found a stable overclock on my i5 2500k (4.7ghz 1.355vcore) long run stability test prime 12h Linpack 1h and more.
My bios is 2001, I have seen that there is newer bios that promises "improved system stability"
I'm thinking about trying the newest 2302, but is there a chance that there will be problems with my overclocking settings?

before you update bios you need to reset your cmos to stock settings. I've been trying to find a stable voltage for my CPU all day today and just updated the BIOS to 2302 about 2 hours ago and I havent gotten a BSOD yet *knocks on wood.* I also raised voltage a tad so it might not be the bios... but if I were you i'd go ahead and update it.

Flash Routine
1. Reset your UEFI to Optimized Defaults, reboot, enter UEFI and then flash to the new UEFI build.
2. After flash and restart, enter Windows/Linux, then exit and shutdown.
3. Remover the power cord from the power supply, wait thirty seconds, press Power On button to clear any remaining charge, clear CMOS for five seconds, reattach the power cord, power on the system, enter UEFI, set to Optimized Defaults, save and exit.
4. Enter UEFI, set your system to customized settings based on your system configuration (RAID, OC, etc), save and exit.

per Gary Key- Asus rep.
