Not at all. Just means you draw more from the wall than you should.

I should correct myself. There is the issue of voltage spikes and ripple suppression but that only matters at high overclocks.

Yah just the idea of a GTX680 in a mini itx apex case is fun. But that'll probably never happen, lol. Once can dream.

Ok good, thanks for clarifying. I want this computer to last for a long time.

Oh I'm wondering how to eliminate the fan noise. The120mm fans I have in there now are actually silent when I run it outside of the case. When I put the case cover on, then they become noisy. I suppose it's because they are just propped up and not screwed down.

To completely get rid of it you'd just cut holes in the case for the fans.

Oh man, I would probably end up hacking the case if I tried to make a circle with a dremel. 2 holes with some mesh wouldn't look too bad if I could theoretically cut two perfect circles.

What about just cutting the stock mesh side out and creating a big window. Thing is I'd have to use mesh to cover it up. Would maybe using a finer mesh create less noise?

Yeah, that'd work. Just have to find a way to mount the mesh without interfering with anything.

I just cut a window about the size of both fans and just left it as is. It's a very quiet pc now. I'm just going to leave the fans uncovered. I like looking at them I guess
