That would of made a lot more SKU's for retailers to handle. It would get too complicated selling a "2gb" model or an "64GB" model. At the same time the manufacturing of seperate models would drive costs through the roof. Apple can do it because they give no option to expand the memory. If sony did that too, then the "64GB" model would be useless.

Its all about the customization on mobile gaming systems (note:NOT phones).

meh, i wont be buying one until they get the memory cards worked out. my psp does evrything i need right now and no way i am paying 99 (who doesnt upgrade the memory....) bucks for a stupid card. you can say what you want but they would have at least 1 more sale (maybe 2 since my son and I would upgrade from PSPs probably) if they would just do something a little more down to earth.
