Looking for an SSD, but totally lost! - Page 5

In terms of overall performance....Corsair Performance Pro > M4/Samsung 830
In terms of bang for buck....M4 > Corsair Performance Pro/Samsung 830

Unless you can find a good deal on Corsair Performance Pro (within $30 of M4?) get Crucial M4...they had some crazy deals a week ago...I almost pulled trigger...but I'm waiting another month or two before I buy. Personally..I got cash..so I might get Performance Pro is the price isn't too much more. But honestly, you probably won't be able to tell a difference from these 3 SSDs in daily use. I just like having the best of the best sometimes...hehehe..

Didn't see this before. Do you want to use that M4 only for OS+Games/Apps? Or is there any other plan?eh-smiley.gif

I followed his guide to the letter, and this screenshot is proof that it works. This is with the 0309 firmware installed (which yours should ship with. That info will be on the sticker of the drive when you get it). My jaw hit the floor when I seen the score. Better than advertised! Can't beat that.
