Perhaps for the resolution/detail problem, we could have 2 logos, on a banner type logo thats high res. for the website and such. Then a lower res. tag for the spray in game...

I Thin it would be better off just focusing on making a shaweet banner type logo for our site and whatever. Then just throwin a tag together that looks 3d using alpha channel or w/e...lol


All in all you have great skill and ideas. I love your work and cant thank you enough for workin with us!

lol no prob, its just what i do..
but heres the situation with the tag: The image is 840x640 or something like that right now. When I take it into CS:S or even DoD or something It compresses the image size down for I guess memory optomization.. So when you spray it, it looks like its 320x240..

So even if I make a nice banner and you end up using it or something off it as a spray it will compress it down in the game.

These are just observations I made when I was testing the sprays..

I noticed its the same size even as a regular Jpeg.. Do you guys know if it can spray larger or is it locked at that resolution. I'm not sure..

Edit: also these are the screens i promised using the current logo

Man this is gonna look shaweet! I believe, though not 100% sure, that all logos have a maximum size in game. What ever size it keeps shrinking it down to is what the max is.

But like i mentioned, i think it would be best to have a seperate spray, and then a logo. But your doing the work...lol so its strictly your call.

well if you want them diffrent what do you want in a spray thats diffrent from the logo, lol.

but yeah I think your right and I agree, the size that I see when you use the spray in game must be the maximum. that stinks.. but o well I will have to make sure for the spray I use every inch of room avalible..

Ya i think they should be different. The large logo could have like all the cool stuff and lots of layers and detail, sorta where you can incorperate the "bond" look, or my "balls to the wall" look. To be honest working with something along the lines of the "bond" look sounds best to me.

The spray can be toned down, similar to what you have already come up with...

Seeing those images in-game, they look really good. If you could take the neon-green out, and make both have the same texture, I think that would look good. Also, could you turn the bullet around the other way (with the back of the bullet pointing forward and the tip towards the D) and put "deadly dominant distructive" around the rim of the casing? I think that would be cool to see.

The in-game spray is pretty right on as far as size. We were hoping to have an image to use as a "banner" for the website. You can work with the image that we're already using as a banner if you'd like, or else you can scrap it and start fresh. I'm real impressed with your work, so whatever you decide to go with is cool. Also, feel free to put your name in your work somewhere. I'll be sure to add our name somewhere on our site, and put contact info for you so that you get at least some reward for your work. You can use our site as "demo" for your clients if you want, that way you get free advertising, and we get free webtraffic. I know that's probably not near as much as your work is normally worth, but it's worth something right?

ok guys, welcome to some of hybreed virtual arsenal .

If you guys want props for the banner I think we have it covered.
I had to dig for these, so for the ones that don't have textures I would through something simple on them if they need to be used. I looked and I couldn't find any kevlar vests or things of that nature.

mount187, i don't see why I can't engrave a back of a bullet for you. I'll also change the 3 to a texture that matches the D.. Its ashame you guys don’t like the green hologram, but I did swap the carbon fiber for kevlar on the D. I didn't change anything else yet because I used the rest of my time finding props converting the file then rendering each one I though was high enough quality.

lol but with all this junk we can make a black cover! ya know, like the game black...

Dude, those weapon models are pimp. We're actually torn on the hologram 3. Half love it and half think it should be changed. It's probably good to have some color in there, so maybe green wouldn't be bad. Maybe a slightly darker shade of green? Actually, when I saw the image in-game it looked a lot better than with the white background. I'm trying to think of a good way for you to be able to upload .tga's. I think I could enable them in our forum, and you could upload them there. I'd have to check into it. Anyways, those weapons are 10x's dope, I'm excited to see what you do with them.

yeah some of the weapons are nice. I have some that are optomized for video games but wouldn't suit this situation..

Yeah im not sure what to tell ya about the 3.. Its cool because its reminds me of nightvision goggles for some reason and the dynamic green light casting onto the D and the bullet from the hologram looks cool. Downside to it is it will be hard to see that glow when used as a spray, because I cant plug a luminace map into it..

I could turn it down to a darker shade of green and see how that looks or like i said before I can take the hologram texture off and put something else on it..

But um yes if you can think of way to send targas it would be awesome because you guys can play with it too.. Or I'd have to find a place to upload the file because I cant use the studios server for this for security reasons.

As for the guns and props, I kinda like the original idea with the black themed cover, lol. I guess I can try it. But im thinking of making the backround something like a few guns some nades and stuff laying on top of a floor covered with bullets or casings. Then on top of that you would have the D^3 on the left then deadly, dominant, destructive in the middle or maybe use the engraving of the back of the bullet with the 3 d's on the right instead..

Its a very loose idea so things would be 90% likely to change. Another idea might strike me and I may like it better. I'm still open ears to any other ideas..



But today guys I have some family matters and I don't know if I'll get to anything tonight. Its all good because I need more time to think about the banner idea.

All great i deas man. And take your time, no rush on any of this.

Heres my idea for a banner type logo. Have like the "bond" look, sorta like the pic i uploaded in a previous post. Have the figure standing in the middle, then have him holding a smoking gun (deagle? P90 with a lazer on it? AWP?),in one hand and a bloody knofe in the other, in a cool stance, not sure what that would be... Then have maybe some grenades and shell casings evey where, bullet holes in the back ground, smoke... just some crazy cool lookin stuff. Then have the d3 tag ontop, deadly dominant destructive on the side perhaps...
