Yes it's quite normal (for this test). IBT is very heavy on the proc and gives very high temps... For testing you should be OK until 80-85°C... For 24/7 use I would stay below 70°C

What cooler do you have?

I have same 2600K at 4.6GHz atm. Running 1.395V in BIOS (1.4V in CPU-Z)

I know it can be a lot lower temps when using offset mode and not manual input the voltage, but I don't understand the offset mode so tongue.gif...

What is the cooler? and you can probably get away with less vcore, but all chip's are different.

2600k46GhzandGPUFH80c.png

That's mine, F@H.. so GPU is also at 80c and dumping some additional heat in the case.

1.345v @ bios, fixed voltage. I can run less, but having some odd issues only at idle.

I don't think anything is wrong with that picture? IBT can really toast CPU's, generally a few c's higher than Prime & LinX.

I just like my SB under 80c, even 80c is probably fine but who doesn't feel more comfortable with lower temps. Anyway, You can Prime95 for 12 hours stable and still BSOD minutes into a game. Time will prove it's stability. Carry on with the vcore you changed it to, and see what happens. Prime it when you can, LinX is nice too. Get some hours in on Mass Effect.. All of that goes well, you are probably fine.

The Antec 620 is right where it should be.. Worse than a NH-D14, probably = to a H60? (anyone?)

It's not the best but should manage a 4.6Ghz OC on a 2600k soon as you find the best vcore for youself.
