Also I'd like to point out that I did not add any thermal paste because the cold plate had some already on it.

All of that goes well, you are probably fine.
The Antec 620 is right where it should be.. Worse than a NH-D14, probably = to a H60? (anyone?)
It's not the best but should manage a 4.6Ghz OC on a 2600k soon as you find the best vcore for youself.

OK sounds good . I got the Antec Kuhler thinking it was better than air. I have a push pull config . Im hoping it will do the job. I will do as you suggested and run Prime and I will look into getting LinX. You gotta link where to get the latest build? But other than that , u think I can lower the vcore . How do I do that exactly? I mean I lowered the VRM frequency to 340 when it used to be 350. Is the offset voltage the (Vcore) if it is that is set to 0.035. Should I have lowered that as well?

70°F = 21°C so that's a normal house temp (here in Belgium tho tongue.gif)

You might want to remove the thermal paste and use aftermarket paste...

Aftermarket paste is definatly better then the stock (unless the stock is a well known brand)

I would not worry too much between the top brands cause between those it's just a matter of 1-2°C (5°F)

Top brands are:

Arctic Silver

Zalman STG-01 and STG-02

Thermalright Chillfactor

a bunch more...

I've read here and there you may not overtighten your cooler (for Corsair Hxx sets) I did tighten it to the max with my AIR cooler tho...

Did you installed it correct?

Also when aplying new TIM, use the ricegrain method or the small pea method...

Couldn't even begin to tell you, I don't even know what motherboard you have.

Common misconception, Only real water blocks/loops are really better than air. The H100 trades blows with the NH-D14/Silver Arrow/Phanteks PH-TC14PE though, perhaps is better with the right fans and configuration. LinX Linpack Edition That's what I use, between that, BF3, and F@H.. I know if i'm good or not.

@AsusFreak . I did have a rig , I just didnt have on my sig. But its now done :0. I do have some artice silver 5 , fresh tube of it ready to be used for this occasion b:)

@ Jagz , I did buy a big enough case for my future water cooling kit but I will buy that in the near future. Danger Den products look nice. I mean Ive been wanting a watercooled system for a long long time just never had a good enough system to really go out and get one. Side note; before I built this rig , I wanted the LGA 2011 platform but no one and I mean no one had the 3930 available when it was time to build so I went with the 1155 platform. But its all good . This one will do.......for now . thanks for the url . Any special settings I should know about?? (for Linx) that is .

IMO..you're at your thermal limit.
Offset is kinda easy.Find out what's stable..Go into bios..set offset high..then lower to match voltage..Takes
a few reboots.

Those new temps look ok. Especially for a Kuhler 620, as they aren't the greatest coolers around. What kind of programs do you run? Do you game alot, or at all? For gaming those temps are fine because the CPU is almost never fully stressed in any games. Most games only use 2 or 3 cores, so you will be fine.

Good luck with the overclocking thumb.gif
