just for your referance, heres mine at 4.5,in an antec 300 with a H80 cooler, ambients are about 12°C lol,but going by this i might need to reseat the h80 as core 0 is quite a bit lower than the others thinking.gif

I have a question guys. my tests were done with Ht turned off. Question is do I need hyperthreading on in order to have a complete stable test?

Also I want to thank everyone for chiming in to help the new guy.. Truly appreciated.

IMO..you're at your thermal limit.
Offset is kinda easy.Find out what's stable..Go into bios..set offset high..then lower to match voltage..Takes
a few reboots.

@Schmuckly , Im new to all this , so if you dont mind me asking, how exactly do I get my offset to match my voltage? I truly dont know how to go about doing that. I dont mind the reboots as its part of this hobby of ours smile.gif

I would not do it. I've got same "problem" and it seems like more 2600K users has that. It can be as big as a 10°C difference between lowest and highest core...

But hey feel free to do what YOU want wink.gif

I've never had an Intel that didn't do this. I'd also not worry about it, as I speak (64c,71c,72c,68c) (F@H)

The new temp's look good. New thermal paste and slightly lower vcore what you did? solid.

Your offset vcore should end up as a product of your VID and offset number. My VID is about 1.385, I use a -0.050 offset and end up with about 1.35v under load somehow, maybe cause of high LLC.

Well guys here is another try at 4.7 with HT enabled. How is the voltage? too high for this level of OC or not?

Wow, those temps are getting pretty high. I know I'd want to keep my temps at a absolute maximum of 65c, and I'd really want them at only 60c to be honest. As long as that 2600K can handle it I only see one problem. Short life.

You really might want to invest in a better cooler. The Antec Kuhler 620 is a medium overclockes cooler, You need either a custom water loop, a RASA loop, or a H100 with Push/pull.

Just my 2cents.gif
