Mass Effect 3 sucks, according to Metacritic user scores... - Page 5

I enjoyed it, Was as good as 1 and 2. Was a bit disappointed that you couldnt romance as much as you could in the other games but they did give you the option to do a bit of man on man lol.
Was also very interesting how it imported my ME1 and 2 profiles and managed to replace the players that died. Took 38 hours to pass doing most of the side missions.
The ending was a bit strange tho, Was expecting more of a conclusion but they did leave it open a little bit for ME4.

Just need to play though as FEM Shepard now but two 15 hour and one 8 hour sessions is enough for me for awhile.

38 hours...? Wow, that's indeed a good chunk of time.
ME2 took ~25 hrs at most and I'm including every DLC including Firewarker, Overlord, Arrival, etc.

All I know is this is the buggiest game I have EVER played, and that is saying a lot considering some of the games I've tried out. Very poor execution for a AAA title. I got to a stopping point because half the textures have vanished and the only sound I get is background noises, no dialogue. I've tried on both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, neither seems to work better than the other. I guess I might shelve this one and play through the other two again and wait for some patches.

- Story has Huge plot holes in it (what was Shepard doing for a year on earth just waiting for the reapers and why would he loose his spectre status?)
- Gameplay is consolized, feels like halo on FPS mode.
- game has framerate issues
- textures suck, they covered them with dark shadows.
- Basically anyone who played ME1 feels that Bioware and EA gutted and dumbed down the game
- Then a lot of people are saying that the whole gay scene is nothing more than an attempt to be politically correct
- Then you get minor references to the day 1 dlc and origin (but I think most of the reviews are console players)
I mean don't forget the game was leaked and probably cracked by now, its not beyond the reach of anyone with a bit of knowledge to file-share the game and try it that way.

-Shepard was stripped of his rank and duties due to being with cerberus in ME2

-Halo is an FPS lol

-I never had frame rate issues, constant 60fps and I can unlock it to go over if I want but whats the point lol

-Textures yea they are ok but not TERRIBLE

-I don't mind the gay scenes since I don't judge lol

-Your also not forced to buy the DLC and you don't have to use the origin client since you bought it you have the right to use the cracked EXE

- Still doesnt explain why he was doing nothing to stop the reapers for a year between ME2 and ME3.
- Seriously did you even play the game? 'FPS MODE' is a game-play mode in ME3, obviously Halo is a FPS game.
- Your playing on PC, obviously you won't have frame-rate issues.
- Again your judging from PC, but I would still say the game looks like crap.
- Saying "I don't judge" IS a judgement. The game also judges you because you get renegade points for rejecting the gay character.
- Day 1 DLC should have been on the disk. Saying your not forced to buy the DLC is a cop out explanation.

I'm pretty damn sure that I regained my Spectre status when I went to the Presidium and faced the council. This only happens if you imported an ME1 Shep and saved the council in ME1 (or picked that option in Genesis DLC).

Also, for those in the dark when the Admiral talked to Shep about "the **** you've done, any other soldier would've etc etc", he was referring to killing of 300,000 Batarians after the Alpha relay was destroyed to delay the Reapers. This was strictly part of The Arrival, the last DLC for ME2. It has nothing to do with working with Cerberus.

So that still doesn't bloody explain where the hell Shepherd went between ME2 and ME3. In my honest opinion, when I saw him return in the demo it almost seemed as if he was returning after a 2 year vacation of doing nothing. I was in shock. "I wish we had more time" said the Admiral as I /facepalmed extremely hard. You had over a year, what the hell? After so long the entire Council (i.e. all races) still think that the Reapers are a myth? It looks like Shepard really DID go on a vacation after all.

If you pay attention to the dialogue, he says he's been under house arrest and unable to communicate with the outside world. House arrest being a nice term for basically imprisoned for "murdering" 300,000 batarians (not that anyone besides batarians cares about this).

Hmm. Put under house arrest as soon as he returned to earth, and basically kept that way for over a year while the Reapers move in slow-mo towards earth. Well that simply sucks doesn't it -_-

It appears all humans except Shepard are mentally handicapped. "How did they get past our defenses?!" cries one lady sitting on one of the high seats. "Oh Shepard, whatever do we do??". I wanted to pick the conversation option "Why the **** are you asking me now? Go die in a fire". And 30 seconds later they certainly did die, so serves them right biggrin.gif but I'm still pissed off at the plot hole -_-

Ive been playing it for a bit now, and im sure Im enjoying it.
Im not sure if I like it or even if I would be able to give it a score yet, but know im having fun with it.
The game hasnt even been out for 24 hours, so any review is either of a pirated copy, from someone who just blew through it, or out of spite.
How wonderfully enlightened and open minded.

I didn't like the first one so I don't really think I should wase $59.99 on it. Hate to tell you I am openminded. My comment is no worse than the BF3 vs MW3 all the time. LOL

I know, right? Half the dialogue makes me want to impale my eyes with salad forks. I know its a game and you're supposed to be the hero but how can 99% of the galaxy be so freaking stupid; "well, we called you a lunatic before for trying to tell us, but no PLEASE HELP OH GOD I DONT WANNA DIE!!!!!"...
