Need veteran HELP. 590GTX + ASUS P8Z68-VLE

The story is a long one, but I will state it all to know where the problem is.
PSU: XFX Pro Core 850W Bronze

So first I get the parts I wanted to build this PC, the most important parts being the MSI 590GTX and the Asus p8z68v-le.
By some sort of mistake, I accidentally bent a few pins in the mobo's CPU slot, which causes the system not to boot.
I then tried erecting the pins back to their normal position ( or somewhere close ). It was sufficient to get the system running and installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 ultimate x64.

I came to the part where I download the 590's drivers, But i never seemed to be able to get through with it. I download the drivers, asks to restart, I restart and when I boot the Windows it doesnt work. The card has a yellow notification in the Device Manager. No matter how many times you uninstall and reinstall the drivers it wont work. I tried all the nVidia drivers on the internet, and none seem to work.

So later I grabbed a XFX 520GT and put in the system, and downloaded its drivers and restarted, which all went well. The system booted and the card was functioning normally.

PS: the card would be hot when i touch it.

So my question is;
-Could the pins issue be the cause for the mobo not running the 590?
-Could it be a compatibility issue?
-Could It be the 590's defect?

Can you try that 590 in another system??

Since you didn't have a problem with the other card don't think it would be a CPU problem.

Power comes into play with that card but unless weak 12v line problem for it,
Don't think power would be a problem with that PS.
I'd say card problem but until you try it elseware, won't know.

Later;)

it seems that if I remove the nVidia audio driver the cards works fine. other than that the card works on other pc's .
