hi!, first of all english is not my native language biggrin.gif

I know that the edifier s550 compete with the z-5500 but in my country those speakers amongs lots other models can't enter the country because of a massive overprice (the s550 would cost like u$s800)

So, im 'stuck' with this two and i would like to know which of them could deliver a cleaner sound, this audio systems will be placed on my room (5x5m) connected to my pc with a Xonar D2X. Currently I have the Logitech x540.

The z-5500 is u$s90 more expensive than the C6 (couldn't find any reviews).

wow.. you actually get z5500 in your country? its all out in mine.

frankly, if you were comparing the z5500 with the s550, id suggest the S550+soundcard

but since you say s550 is far too expensive there, go for the z5500. it will be a world of difference from the x540 (which is very good at its own level).

plus your room is 5x5m. thats huge! youll need the power of the z5500 to shake everything in a room that big.

cheers
