Fan placement on CPU HSF

I just got my cpu heatsink (cooler master hyper 212 plus) and I have a couple questions. The fan that it came with is a 4 pin PWM plug that will serve as the intake. And I have a second spare Sunbeam 120mm fan that I am going to add to it. The problem is that it is a 3 pin connector. Im pretty sure I can connect the 3 pin connector to the CPU_2 plug on my mobo but can someone verify this? But here is my main concern. The Sunbeam fan that I will add has a higher CFM rating than the stock one. And a higher RPM and CFM than the exhaust fan in my case that will be facing it. Would it be better to place the Sunbeam as the intake (cooling) or is it ok if I set it as the exhaust for my HSF? Or.... should I instead use my case exhaust fan to add to my HSF and the one I wanted to add to my HSF in its place? Which would be the optimal setting? Oh, and a silly question but I just want to double check before I start installing. Since I will be using 2 fans on my HSF both fans should be blowing away from the heatsink, correct? Like this- Fan1--->|HS| Fan2--->Case Exhaust---->

Yes that is how you want your fan setup to be. Adding a second fan to the 212+ gives you ~ 1-3 degree change, so how you set them up will not really mater. I would go for easiest (i.e. adding the sunbeam to pull, and leaving the other two as they are).
