Why three separate expansions? I hope this isn't true.

Surely this is just going to divide players - even now there are people on my Battlelog contacts who i have to ask if they own B2K, now i'm going to have to ask if they own several other expansions as well? What a mess. I wouldn't complain if it was just one more expansion, that would be pretty decent.

Eh, this is just typical of EA. It's like The Sims all over again. How about they just give us one big expansion that includes all of the content? Oh right, yeah, they probably won't make as much money from us that way....

I don't care much for these rumors anyway, all i (and many others) care about is them getting this bloody patch out and fixing a buggy, broken game. Naturally all they're focused on is just making another quick buck out of people.

Funny how they mention 12million strong. A good 50% cant even log on to play, quit playing because its more dumbed down than BC 2, and/or dont have internet service. I mean the the peak players playing for US and Europe being under 500k over all platforms speaks for its self.

First off. The paragraphs quoting the descriptions of the EP's are too large for me to quote (IMO). I think I've quoted enough there for people to click on the source and read it for themselves rather than me quoted the whole bally lot.

Second, it's an EA press release. How exaclty does this count as a rumour.... I posted this article that Zhinto, the BF community manager, linked on twitter. How much more official can you get?

If I was to say, quote one of the many articles on gaming 'sites that speculated on the "All American" EP, then I would accept you calling me out.

I'm sceptical, but I'm interested to see as to just how big this "Armoured Kill" map really will be.

4 xpansion packs from now to "winter" (i guess end year??)

and i see each xpansion AT LEAST 15 bucks... times 4: that would be 120 $ to play BF3 this year including the base game.. epic EA, nice move

oh 1 more thing: " Battlefield 3: Close Quarters " its just a CALL OF DUTY MODE for that kind of crowd.. AND hopefully to steal some playerbase from COD too
