yeesh, not having youtube open isnt the end of the world, it's not a bug either, it's just how the hardware accelerated video timing works (since 2009)
disable flash acceleration or use an mp3 player
& actually if you're on chrome, disable flash & it will just use the html5 player that might not touch the gpu
