Thats only in the games that support SM2 HDR, CS:S/HL2 is the only one I think.

Unless you want to spend $700 on a DX10 card when they come out, just get a nice 7 series or X1900 for now, you can use that for a year and save up for a new rig then upgrade to DX10.

As far as i know yes there the only ones supported.

also, i dun think DX10 games will come out so soon, u should be able to use a DX9.0c card for about 1 year before a switch to DX 10 is necessary

I would say that you should wait - whether or not you go dx10. once the new cards come out prices on old will drop like never before - since they will all be obsolete instead of just not as good.
