Mac Daddy DDR2 8000

Guys is this the mac daddy of PC8000?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231077

From what I can see it has the tightest timings of any ram I have seen and the price is somewhat reasonable

I was also looking at the CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory (pc8500) but its timings are not as tight.

Let me know your thoughts and experiences with the 8000 round up of RAM.
FYI: I am running G.Skill 6400 and its ok but looses its timings on a 1:1 greater that 900mhz...which is unacceptable to me. I need something that can hold 4-4-4-(5/6) when going 1:1 at 4.5+ghz...

Just get the DDR2 800... it's the same chips, I think. Just more voltage. But yeah, those are great modules.

Wait what multi are you running @ 4.5? Your G.skill should run 500mhz (ddr1000) @ 4-4-4-10 easy. like 2.4-2.5v. I run 2.3 for 475 mhz @4-4-4-10. If you run a 1:1 thats like 450 mhz with 10x and even less with 11x. Your gskill should be fine

I want to run 4/4/4/5 at 900mhz or perhaps 4/3/4/5 at 900mhz or 4/4/4/5 at 1000mhz.

My SuperPi 32m time at 4.432 is slower than NCSA at 4.4 and the only difference is hes able to run at 4/4/4/5 while I am running 4/4/4/10.

NCSA has got some of this:

Regardless I am short a batch of 2gb sticks to complete another C2D system so I will need ram no matter what I do.

Hey David Jin is still missing in action no replies to phone calls or status and hes had my unit for over 11 days now...im getting a little concerned...

I have seen some GEIL that runs 800mhz @ CAS 3. So far I am setting my sights on those. I think they are "extreme latency series" er some mumbojumbo. I currently have the ozc plat, and cannot tighten it past 4-4-4-13-4, at any speed any voltage! ....boooo

Check out the link in my previous post to NCSA ram it can run 3/3/3/x at 800mhz speeds ...this seems to be the ram to get...Im going to check out the price but can find anyone selling it yet.

Yuppers...thats the stuff. Read the reviews.....lukx great, uhm where do we buy....? LOL. I just want something that will allow me to test the 500mhz range of this boards fsb.

Also *I really need 2g or better for my rig, even my sons rig that I built him has 2g of 667. Rise of Legends is maxxed out my RAM usage and biting into half of my pagefile...rofl.
