Linux Deepin (Distro)

Thread Starter
Hi, I found this lovely distro and through I would share it with everyone at ocn.

http://www.linuxdeepin.com/download

Its called deepin (weird i know) but it looks stunning and everything is extremely simple. Its got an app store thats simple and some parts of the os resemble osx for example adding new users etc.

I think its great and im giving it a try over the next few days.

PS The default languages seem to be english-chinese but it can just be changed to english us or english uk.

Ive included a small stock screenshot for those interested just to show the default UI

Let me know if you try it out

Squeeky

Still easier to go with Mint at that point then. Or even better Debian. Too many distro's with forks and fork of forks of forks, when in the end, they're still all the same.

Starting to seem like every week there's another x based distro coming out just because they've added x or removed y, z. Just my opinion though, getting a bit much.

Just a note this is a overwhelmingly a CHINESE DISTRO, and while it does have the ability to set English as the installed language, there is isn't many English people using it so support in English is going to be very limited.
