What is solid 16Gb memory for Asus P8P67 Pro with i5 2500k.

Thread Starter
I am looking to replace my Mushkin 2x4Gb blackline 1600mhz 1.35v with some good overclocking 16Gb memory.
What is solid these days .. what should I go for ?
I have access to most brands.

*edit*
Should I maybe go for another set of Mushkin 2x4Gb Blackline 1600mhz ?
What does it matter if the memory is 1.35v or 1.5V ??

I have a P8Z68-V Pro, but I'm using 16GB of 1600MHz (9-9-9-24) G.Skill RipJaws X 1.35V stuff. It works fine and I haven't touched the VCCIO from it's stock 1.05V. I haven't fiddled with overclocking it much so I couldn't tell you, other than trying 1866MHz at stock voltage and I had issues (maybe it wasn't even the RAM but the CPU due to the VCCIO?), but another person claimed it worked for them, but that lowering timings at 1600MHz wouldn't. That was just at stock voltage though; I'm unsure of how they'd react at 1.5V or even 1.65V.

In my personal opinion, you're probably just better off getting something rated around where you want it. Usually, if something will do high clock speeds, I imagine the manufacturer would rate it there so they can sell it at a premium. I'm sure there's some sets out there that are nice and do fair things, but that's my opinion. Keep in mind I'm not a person who frets much over the best speeds/timings, so throw my opinion to the wind if that's what you're after.

Also, there's generally little point in going from 8GB to 8GB just for speed or timings. You may as well get 16GB if you even change at all.
